Hot rolls

Add lard and sugar to milk and bring to a boiling point, let cool. Take 1 cup mixture and add 2 yeast cakes then add 5 cups flour mix and let stand until it rises twice its size. Add 6 cups flour. Put in ice box, use when needed.

Hot rolls

Mix sugar, salt, lard and pour hot milk over this until dissolved. Let cool until lukewarm. Dissolve yeast cake in a little cold water then add to first mixture then add flour and beat until it bubbles. Then add enough flour to make dough. Let rise 3 times then bake.

Hot rolls

Set in ice box over nice. Cut out and let rise 2 1/2 hours before baking in 500ºF oven.
