Pennywise steak
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- ¾ cup milk
- 1 ½ lb. ground beef
- 1 teaspoon onion juice
Pat out and fry.

- 1 cup corn meal
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups boiling water
- 1 onion
- 2 tablespoon butter
- ¼ chili powder
Make a mash of cornmeal and water. Fry onions in butter until well browned. Add chili powder, then meat, and when brown, add tomato sauce. Spread the mush in the bottom of a baking pan, saving some to spread over the top. Pour in meat mixture, then remaining mush. Bake in moderate oven 30 minutes.
Rolled and stuffed meat loaf
- 2 lb ground beef
- ½ cup rolled oats
- ½ cup chopped onion
- ½ cup milk
- 1 egg beaten
- 2 teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon pepper
Stuffing
- ½ lb. ground pork
- 1 medium potato, grated
- ¼ cup fine chopped onion
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 ½ cup soft bread crumbs
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- 1 ½ teaspoon poultry seasoning
Combine all ingredients. Mix thoroughly, shape on wax paper into a rectangle about 10 x 16 in. Spread stuffing evenly over meat. Roll as a jelly roll and place seam side down on rack in open roasting pan. Bake at 350 degrees 1 ½ hours.
