Ice cream
Ice box ice cream
- 1 can (large) PET milk
- 1 cup Eagle milk
- 1 qt sweet milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Chill and whip.
Ice box ice cream
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 qt milk
- 2 tablespoon flour
- 1 pt coffee cream
Mix sugar and flour, add little milk and then eggs. Mix until smooth add rest of milk and boil. Freeze until soft, then add whipped cream and freeze.
Strawberry ice cream
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 package frozen strawberries
- 1 can chilled evaporated milk
- 1 pt fresh sweet milk.
Mix berries, condensed milk, and fresh milk. Whip chilled evaporated milk until light and fluffy. Add to first mixture, whipping just enough to blend. Pour into 2 large trays, freeze until nearly solid. Return to bowl and whop until smooth. Finish freezing without removing from trays again but stir several times. Makes about 2 quits of ice cream. You can use chopped fruits of equal amounts instead of berries if desired.
